Ayesha Pearce is a self-taught artist from the UK. Her work examines daily life through a minimal and naive lens .
Using playful geometries, Ayesha explores the tension between clarity and simplicity as she attempts to strip her subject down to its very essence. She allows the forms to obscure as the composition develops, all the while colour remaining paramount to the explanation. The output is symbols you half-recognise, not entirely abstract, nor figurative. A suggestion. The bare essentials.
Originally a graphic designer, Ayesha began exploring painting as a medium in 2019 and immediately fell in love. She currently works out of her studio in Easton, Bristol.
