My paintings weave between the outer beauty of nature and the inner harmonies of the unseen realm
Working with oils, alcohol inks, and mixed media, I allow compositions to emerge through the inherent qualities of the materials themselves. Scrunched and soaked paper, flowing inks, and sweeping paint gestures create textures and rhythms that echo the patterns of nature.
Inspired by textiles, trees, architecture, and the interplay of colour, my work explores the hidden structures that lie beyond visible form. Layers of colour are given space to resonate, while intricate details emerge at their interlocking edges.
Underlying the work is an exploration of three pathways to the spiritual dimension: through the beauty of nature, through the Word of God, and through abstraction as a direct inner sense of presence. These themes are also reflected in a series of colour meditation books, children’s books, and a collaborative land art publication.
Machine-embroidered giclée prints and cards are also available.
