Paintings, Prints, Sculpture, Wood

I am a multi-disciplinary visual artist and maker that creates artworks from recycled materials. Following the collapse of the tenant dairy farm on which I was born, I pursued the arts as a means of expressing an internal language. I now live as an itinerant boater, working in Bristol. Paintings, sculptures and screen prints are adorned with urban textures, colour, and archetypal symbols, all with a tactile feel that invites audience participation. Fabrication processes are central as they parody industrial manufacturing, and underpin complex structures.

I graduated in MA Fine Art from Bath Spa University in 2023 and have been working as a freelance artist and fabricator since then. I wrote my thesis on one’s environmental connection with sustainable approaches in a material based arts practice. Much of my work is motivated by surplus materials generated in manufacturing processes, motivated by a desire to tackle the effects of climate change in an industrialised economy.
