Gil works in stoneware clay, making both wheel-thrown and hand-built pots. Her pieces are functional, including bowls and vases which are often carved or altered with hand-formed shapes after throwing. Always trying new things, she explores two main styles: geometric with bold coloured slips or underglaze, and pots that are more organic with a natural palette.
