Hazel creates highly detailed acrylic paintings, presented on plain or minimal backgrounds, which capture a sense of quiet beauty, allowing the viewer time to pause and reconnect with nature. Her artwork is a celebration of animals, with a call to give wildlife space.
Her current series ‘Eternal Light’ uses the technique of traditional gold leafing to discuss how the natural world is affected by different lighting conditions.
Hazel has exhibited in London, New York, Toronto, Singapore and Hong Kong and is the winner of the prestigious BBC Wildlife Artist of Year.
