Kathryn is an oil painter. She enjoys experimenting with various textures, colours and layers of oil paint. Her paintings evoke a sense of mystery and imagination.

These paintings are constructions based on impulsive and improvised processes of colour, and express the physical and performative nature of the act of painting.
Kathryn graduated from Bath Spa in 2013 and currently lives and works in Bristol. Born and raised by the Cornish Coast of St Ives, Kathryn’s paintings undoubtably portray elements, memories and experiences influenced by the landscape of her homeland.
