Lottie is an artist, printmaker, and writer from South Bristol, with an interest in fantasy, nature, and all things otherworldly. She completed a Masters degree in Illustration at the University of Falmouth in 2024, and in doing so discovered a love for printmaking.

Lottie creates original lino and other types of print, inspired by fantasy, folklore, the magical and the mystical, nature, and astronomy, explored through colour and mark-making to create intricate hand-printed designs.

To create relief or intaglio prints, a design is either carved out of a block or etched into a plate with specialised or improvised carving and mark-making tools, to form the design that will become the printed image. Sometimes materials might be layered onto the surface in a collage to create texture instead. The block or plate is then inked either on the raised areas (relief) or in the recessed areas (intaglio), then paper is laid on top and pressure is applied using a press, or by hand-burnishing with barens, spoons, and other improvised tools to produce a print.

Original prints will be available, as well as cards, wrapping paper, pin badges, stickers, and other small gifts.
