I’m a South African ceramist living in Bristol. My work is inspired by years spent in Asia and a deep love for traditional Chinese blue-and-white porcelain. I use those delicate techniques to tell new stories, creating pieces that feel like your gran’s good china, but reimagined for you.
Each piece is hand-thrown and painted with minimalist illustrations that reflect everyday life: a special pet, a meaningful place, or a moment you want to revisit with your morning coffee. ‘My china ceramics’ is a way of honouring tradition while capturing something personal and present.
