I paint both people and places. Colour plays a big part in my work as does line. I’m massively influenced by the San Francisco Bay Area Painters of the 1950-1960s. My work is more about the brushstroke, colour, and composition than about telling a story. It is primarily to be enjoyed as colour and marks on a flat surface. I love talking about painting and will be happy to chat with anyone who visits.
