Work exploring the textural and surface qualities of clay and porcelain. Inspired by the character of clay and its ability to retain pattern and texture through various application methods, the process of making includes influences taken from nature and found textiles. Leaves, flowers and woven patterns are embodied through relief, imprint or transfer. Contrasting glazes finish the pieces. Outputs include jewellery pieces and small thrown tablewares.
