We are delighted to announce the merger of the Easton
and St George Arts Trail to form the NEW BS5 Art Trail

Easton Arts Trail (EAT) was founded in 2006 by artists with the aim of celebrating the quality and diversity of creativity of Easton. The Trail aims to showcase the broad range of creative talent in Easton by providing a platform for local artists, makers and performers to promote and develop their work in their community.
Due to limited interest in organising the event, EAT did not operate in 2017 and 2018. Thanks to an organising committee (composed of Kasia, Amy, Emily, Del, Jonathan, Patrick and Eva) EAT was a huge success in June 2019. The event attracted 140 artists and included a festival of live music, workshops and the opening of the Jamia mosque for visitors. The theme of the trail was ‘equality’ – with the aim of showcasing the vibrancy and diversity of the area.
St George Arts Trail (SGAT) was established in 2018 and held its second event in February 2019 thanks to Heli and her team. The weekend showcased over 70 artists displaying in their own home or at one of the three group venues. The Trail’s theme was ‘recycling’ – with attendees encouraged to think about the use of plastic, littering and sustainable living.
Neither Trail was able to happen in 2020 due to the pandemic. Thanks to a new team of volunteers we are delighted to announce the merger of EAT and SGAT to form BS5 Art Trail. The organising committee currently include Amy, Fiona, Jan, Nadine, Patrick and Ruth – though more help is always welcome!
BS5 Art Trail is an equal opportunities event welcoming people from across the community.
We look forward to seeing you on this year’s Trail!
